Nikon d90 verus d5000?

I'm looking to upgrade from my Nikon d3000. I would like to either purchase the Nikon d90 or the Nikon d5000. From what I can tell the two cameras seem pretty similar, except the price. What are some pros/cons about each and which would you recommend?
Thanks.
Added (1). Ben,
I was looking for a more personal opinion/review of each, but thank you! I had come across that page earlier. Before I posted this question I did quite a bit of research on each camera, but decided that I wanted to try to get some feedback on here as well.

The D90 is better made. It may have metal parts where the D5000 has plastic. It also has better seals. That's why it costs more.

If your going to upgrade from the d3000 then i would move to the d300 personally. I have the d5000 now and i'm upgrading soon to either the 300 or possibly 700. Only thing is don't make a rookie mistake and think the body is what makes the picture. In my opinion glass means more then the body itself so if i were you id make sure your keeping up the body's you get with the glass you will need as well.Id get at least 1 maybe 2 good 2.8 lens b4 upgrading, but that is just me
few more things.nikon is upgrading a few of there models this year so check into that before buying a new camera also

The D90 is an older camera. It was part of last gen, but it was so well made that it performs like a current gen camera. The sensor from the D90 was recycled and put in the D5000 (I believe that is how it goes) so both cameras are very much comparable. The D5000 is not THAT much of an upgrade. The D90 still out-performs it.
Better yet would be the Nikon D7000, the D90's replacement
