I'm having some problems changing aperture in manual (M) mode. When I'm in Manual mode, I use the eyepiece, I can control the aperture. I then switch to live view because I want to take a video. I rotate the aperture wheel and nothing changes?

You can't control the aperture, shutter speed and ISO on video mode. You have to set it up first before switching to live view/video mode.
