On a Nikon D7000, how do I manually set aperture and shutter speed in U1 & U2 modes?
I have a Nikon D7000 and would like to manually set aperture and shutter speed in U1 & U2 modes. I know I can do this using the M (manual) mode, but I want the custom settings of the U1 & U2 modes along with the ability to manually control these elements. I have also looked through the D7000 manual already, but couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do.
Added (1). I know how to save the settings for U1 and U2. I also know that once I set up the camera for how I want it to be and save those settings, going back to U1 and U2 will always recall that information. What I don't know how to do is to make the camera allow me to use the dials like it does in manual mode, on top of the settings I already have saved in U1.
You set your camera up how you want it to be, then save those settings in one of the User modes.
