Manual aperture lense for nikon D7000?
I've been looking to assemble a personalized lens for my Nikon D7000 kit buy procuring manual aperture lenses of varying focal lengths. But I have yet to see a place, web page or otherwise that would give me bang for buck other than ebay and other similar sites and the awful truth is that I don't know what I'm looking for! I would like to know where can I buy manual aperture lenses for this type of camera, and what's the lingo or keywords to look for!
Peace out!
Fortunately, Nikon AF lenses which have an aperture ring will auto focus on your D7000. Lenses such as the AF Nikkor 20mm f/2.8D or AF Zoom-Nikkor 24-85mm f/2.8-4D. Always look for the "D" suffix after the aperture (f number) since those lenses have an aperture ring on the lens body. Lenses with a "G" suffix after the aperture do NOT have an aperture ring on the lens body. Ex.: AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G EDII.
