Nikon D70 not working?

Everything has worked well since the day I bought it, only had a one past problem with it, but it was just the lens. Now everytime i try to focus it and snap, it won't take the picture, and the display says - E

The first thing that comes to my mind is a corrupted memory card. Replace it and see what happens.

Sometimes reseating the lens will fix this. Remove the lens and put it back on, making sure it snaps into place.
