Nikon d3100? Is it as good as the reviews?

Buying my first dslr camera, m
I'm nearly 15 so I'm an amateur xxx wud it be good for me xx

The 3100 is a great camera, as long as YOU are willing to put forth the effort to actually learn about photography.

If you expect a nice camera to magically enable you to take nice pictures, you're in for a rude awakening.

If you don't plan on learning about photography, you don't need a DSLR.
