Nikon d3000 won't turn on

My nikon d3000 camera won't turn on. It's not the battery (I bough a new one and it doesn't work either) and nothing happened to it. It just randomly didn't turn on. Please help! Yesterday when i tired turning it on it said something about the battery needed to be replaced but i don't know:/ Help!

You sure you charge the new battery? A new battery needs to be charged too.

A new battery needs a long first charge.did you do that?
is your battery charger working properly?
