Is the nikon d7000 worth the extra money?

I asked this question a lot so thank you so much for all the people who answer me. I don't know if I should get the canon 60d with the 18-200mm lens or the nikon d7000
Is the nikon d7000 worth paying more money? Also would it be better to buy the d7000 body only then a lens separately (the place that am buying has been sold out of the d7000 kit for like a month)? If so what lens? The reason why I like the d7000 is because it seems more fun and you can use it even as an advances camera. I really like the scene mode and I love the creative filters, especially the sketch mode or whatever. So what would you do?
Thank you I really appreciate it and I'm really confused on which I should get. Because I'm also thinking about the future if I should go with canon or nikon. So thanks!

Get the d7000. I'm a canon guy, but even I recognize the hardware advantage nikon has over canon these days (still waiting for 5d mk3:)
the d7000 is better built, has weather sealing (to some degrees) and is compatible with any nikon lenses. That's pretty sweet already. Buy it body only and ditch the common kit lenses that are a waste of money.
Here's a tip, if you want to get good at photography, and become a pro.
Get prime lenses. These don't have zoom, but they have image qualities like the pro lenses, at a fraction of the cost. They ususally have low aperture <F.3.5 and can produce pro-quality images.
Getting a pro zoom lens (with fixed aperture) will cost ten times as much as buying a prime, and will produce the same <if not worse> image quality.

PRIMES FTW.

Recommend:
nikon d7000
nikon 50mm 1.8 (first gen or second gen, both image quality is excellent, gen2 has better build and so… Yeah.happy shootings!)
