Is there a better Camera than the Nikon D5100 for the SAME price?

So I'm looking for a high quality camera and I have experience with the Nikon D5100 but I don't own it. I was wondering before I go out and buy it if there's maybe a camera that takes higher quality pictures and is better than this model.

Better at a cheaper price, maybe although picture quality will be more or less the same because that depends on your skill. The camera is only a tool.

There are cameras with better sensors at a higher price, such as the Nikon D5300 and D7100.
