Of course, it's a great model, but what do you need it for? It will shine at fast sports, low light and everything else, it's build quality is great and you can't really get it wrong.

It's a solid mid-level DSLR. If I didn't need the extra durability of the D300 for my work, the D7000 would be my camera of choice. Reviews are definitely very positive.
