Is upgrading from a Nikon D5000 to a D7000 worth the money?

I sold my Nikon D3000 because I wanted something with more options and better quality photos. I was looking to buy a Nikon D7000 but settled on a Nikon D5000 with two lens and some other miscellanies things. I can still take it back, however I was hoping to find a Nikon D7000 with the same sorta of deal so I could get two lenses but haven't had any luck. I still want the Nikon D7000 but I'm not sure it's worth it.

The best you can do with a DSLR is to use it competently in manual mode. The manual mode on all DSLR cameras work the same. Lenses are much more important than the actual camera body, therefore it is more important to use your money for good lenses than a different camera body.

You need to take more time making these choices.

Yes, the D7000 is a whole level above the D5000.

The D7000 shoots in Full HD video and can auto-focus in the video mode.

It can also use all the AF, AF-I and AF-S Nikkor lenses in the auto-focus mode, something your D3000 and D5000 can't do.

All dSLRs are basically the same. If you must live and die with that extra ISO value or that extremely fast shutter speed then so be it. Upgrade. If you know the basic principles of photography, you can eke out any picture out of any given condition with any given camera. Picture quality depends mostly on you anyway.

You are too concerned about the body, you think that a "better" body will give you better results. You should have kept the D3000 and got good lenses, a body upgrade doesn't make you a better photographer.
