Is it ok.to buy a Nikon D90 in Quiapo?

I've heard about Hidalgo street as a popular destination for photographers who want to buy a camera, It's considered to be a photographers haven here in the Philippines, But I'm worried I might purchased a refurbished Nikon D90.anyone who experienced to buy a camera/accessories there?
