How many pictures will a 4GB SDHD SanDisk memory card hold on my Nikon D3000?

I just got this camera and I was just wondering what memory card I should get.

Every camera manual I've seen has a card capacity chart, often near the back.

READ YOUR MANUAL, it is very important that you do.

Buy 2 or 4 GB cards… Better to have several of those than one giant one.

Learn how to take care of your card, too (e.g.regular formatting etc) .
