1 picture is around 8 - 12 mb so you should get around 400 pictures depending on the type of pictures you take like, how colorful, how dark or bright your subject is, etc.

While you are at it, buy a few more 4 gb cards.
Look on page 116 of your user manual and then do the math
512 mb = 65 RAW image files
8x65 = 520. More than enough for one days shoot
