How many photos could I put onto a 8GB SDHC memory card with 14MP camera?

I'm going to buy a Nikon D3100 14MP DSLR Camera tomorrow and I would like to know how many photos could I put onto a 8GB SDHC memory card with this 14MP DSLR camera?

I don't know how many… Lol… Prob a bunch

I have a D3100 8GB myself and shoot RAW format. That takes a bit more storage than shooting in FINE. You can store around 1600 Images. I highly recommend importing your SD card in your computer to transfer them over and delete of the camera at the end of the day from shooting.

It depends what format you want to save in.
RAW = large, JPEG = Not so large
