How many Images would a 8GB card hold? (24.5MP D3x Camera)?

Does anyone know how many images a SanDisk Extreme IV 8GB card can hold using a Nikon D3x 24.5 Camera?

Your using roughly 2731 x 4096 = so a rough guess would be about 3, 200 images. The average image at 24.5MP is about 2.5MB in size. And a GB contains about 1, 000MB.

A 24.5MP image is 6048 x 4032, on JPG Fine, anywhere from 17.5 MB ~ 30 MB per image.

So anywhere from 300~350 images.
