About how many photos can an 8GB memroy card hold?

If the photos are taken in RAW and are 'large'.
and taken with a Nikon D3100 if that matters.

Added (1). Thank you, and I will use the space, it was a serious question. I'm currently studying abroad in Paris and have already taken around 2, 000 + photos. So I believe I will need 2 or 3 more cards.

Second, I have multiple cards… Obviously

Alot, more than you'll ever need. About 1K+ and that's if the quality of photos are high, if the photos aren't of superb quality you can hold way more.

RAW format takes up a ton of space. Trust me.during basketball games i sometimes used raw with my 8 gb and because of that i'm only able to take 200 pics. I suggest that you go out and buy either a 32 or 16 GB. Even though they are more money you don't have to stress about having multiple SD cards that you have to keep track of. A 32 SD card i believe can hold up to 17000 pictures. It also matters what grade the SD card it.

How can you take 2000+ pics with 8gb while you're shooting in RAW?
i can only get about 800 with my D300s when shooting in RAW+JPEG fine
