How long does nikon d7000 camera last at one bar?

I only have one bar left and I'm wondering how many shots or how long it will last at one bar. I'm on vacation and I have no access to a charger.

CIPA rating of battery life is 1050 shots per full charge for the D7000
The battery indicator consists of 5 bars or segments, which would mean an approximate charge of 200 shots per segment
Only one last bar could mean at best 200 shots & could be as low as 30 - 50 shots

What a shame to run out of charge & being help less
You should be carrying your charger with you, more so on vacation
You should be having a spare battery or two always along with you
A battery grip is another option

I would say buy a charger but be sure to get the one designed for this battery.

It depends on
How many shots you intend to take.
Will you use flash or not.
Will you look at photos on the screen.

Might be best to turn off the Auto Focus as that will use battery. Just use manual.
