How can i solve the problem of not having an external mic option in a Nikon D90?

Record the sound with a separate device and then mix it into the video in post-editing.

1. Get a separate recorder with mic and splice the audio together
2. Get a new camera.

Import the audio from the field recorder when the video is being edited. Sync the audio. Mute the audio that was captured with the video.
