Canon Eos Rebel Xs, Canon PowerShot SX3, or Nikon D3100?

the SX30 IS is a bridge camera
the Xs and D3100 are both DSLRs

between the 2 DSLRs, i'd choose the D3100

Canon Rebel. But you should compare their features yourself and choose according to what you're going to do with the camera (pics/vids)

I'd go with the rebel or d3100

I would get the Nikon D3100. I have one and absolutely love it! It has a higher megapixel count than the Rebel Xs and has a much better feel to it because of the great build quality. Without a doubt, go with the Nikon D3100! =D
