Canon EOS Rebel T3 Effects?

Does the T3 have fisheye effect built in? And what are some other nice features?
Would you recommend the Nikon D5000 over the Canon EOS Rebel T3?

The T3 doesn't have the fisheye effect built in. To get the fisheye effect, you need to buy a fisheye lens. I would recommend the T3 or the T2i over the Nikon.

The fisheye effect is not built into the camera. You will have either buy a lens that does that or approximated in some photo editing software. In generally, I like the T3 as a good beginners DSLR. While not especially feature rich, it does have a HD video mode and has enough features to teach you all you need to know about digital photography.

The Nikon D5000 is also another good DSLR. Really the only difference is that it lacks a video mode. The performance differences between the two are not significant enough to where it really matter.

Both are good choices.
