Best lens for Nikon D60 for sports?

I bought a Nikon D60 before they came out with the new models. The only lens I have is the standard one that comes with it, 18-55 mm. I was wondering what lens I should get if I want to take good pictures during hockey games. Preferably a budget friendly lens but I can always save up for it.

The best would be the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8
take a look at the Nikon 55-200 and 55-300 lenses

I use a 18-200 mm when shooting motocross, a 24-70 mm when shooting the drags and a 300 mm when shooting football and basketball 24-70 mm from baseline and 300 mm cross court.
NONE of them are "budget friendly" Nothing about photography is budget friendly.

To shoot hockey you need a fast lens. But since your camera will not autofocus AF lenses, you will need an AF-S lens.
And 200mm should be enough for hockey. I shoot hockey with my Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 with great results. But your camera will not autofocus this lens.
Best lens for you is probably the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8, but even that lens is not cheap.
