Does this camera fit my needs! (Nikon N6006)?
I need a
- 35 mm SLR camera
- 50 mm lens
-manual override controlls
- with TTL light meter
Does the Nikon N6006 fit that description?
Here's the full specs for the Nikon N6006.

Except for the unknown lens, this camera completely meets your criteria. And a 50mm lens for this camera would be fairly inexpensive. Any autofocus lenses you get for it, will be manual focus with entry level Nikons (D40-D5100) but will be fully autofocus on mid to upper level Nikons like the D90, D7000 and up.
The lens is a separate question (as that camera can use different lenses), but otherwise yes. I'd advise against it though, as it's a rather old model and has limited compatibility to modern lenses.
Get e.g, a F80 / N80 (different names in different countries) instead.
Edit:
@George Y, the N6006 seems to have serious compatibility issues to modern lenses, specifically the AF-S ones, according to its entry on one of the charts on this page:

I still have a Nikon N6006 in my closet. It's been there ever since I purchased a DSLR. It will do everything you wish it to do. Whether or not it will work autofocus AF-S lenses I don't know, as I have not tried it, but there are plenty of lenses it will work with. I could try it with one of my AF-S lenses, but I don't want to spend $10 on a new battery to find out (the camera does not use a rechargeable battery).
The only issue with the N6006 is that some of them had defective film door latches that could break off. But mine never had that problem.
