Nikon N6006 Shutter Button Issue?

I have never really had a film camera before and I was given it for my birthday because Inhabe picked up the passion for photography, but anyway I was playing around with it and as I was doing so the shutter realease button came out and no matter what I do I can't get it to stay back in its spot. I didn't break it at all. Can someone tell me if this is fixable?

Added (1). Although I can't fix it, I would like to know what I did for it to fall out.

You can't fix it. You'll have to take it to a qualified repair shop to have that done.
