Canon rebel t3 or t3i for a beginner?
I want to buy a DSLR camera but I don't know which one to get. I heard that Canon is better than Nikon so I narrowed it down to either the rebel t3 or the t3i. I'm mostly going to be taking pictures, not videos. Does one camera have better picture quality or are they pretty much the same? Is the t3i worth the extra money?
The T3i adds dust reduction, articulating LCD, more autofocus points, and better autofocus. If these cameras are your choices, go for the T3i.
The Pentax K50 is about the same price has better features like image stabilization built into the body. This will allow you to shoot any non-action image at lower ISOs which will result in much better image quality. This also makes things cheaper since you won't have to invest in an expensive flash or have to use a tripod as often.
All dSLRs are basically the same. Get the most expensive you can afford for more satisfaction. The cheapest are the hardest to use. If money is enough for a 60D, that would be better.
For a start, although I'm a dedicated Canon fan/user, I have to say that they are not necessarily "better" than Nikon (or Pentax & Sony).
It's all a matter of user preference.
Buy the highest spec you can afford. It might have more Involved functions and modes but you will soon get used to them.
