Cameras! How to choose for outdoor/ quality/ brand/ removable lens?

What is the best brand for choosing the right camera in your opinion? Canon, Fujifilm, Sony, Nikon, Panasonik, Kodak, Olympus or any other type?

The type of camera I'm looking for is one for mostly outdoor nature shots day and night, and preferably a camera that is able to alternate lenses for better quality pictures.

Another good feature would be the "quick shot" capability ( not sure what its called -- where you can go *snap snap snap* without delay and the pictures take rapidly almost like a movie )

Also I don't mind if the best brand isn't a digital option but do prefer a camera with SD slot.

Any tips are all welcome! Thank you

For clarity, the only cameras that use interchangeable lenses are either dSLR or EVIL cameras, so that eliminates a number of brands like Fujifilm, Kodak and others.

To start your research, read this article. It talks about the major makers of fully adjustable digital cameras.

This will give you an idea of what each of the camera makers are doing in their future designs.

As you will soon see, some seem to be drifting away form traditional designs, the ones that pros and advanced amateurs use and are appealing to the less sophisticated snapper.

For clarity, using "alternate lenses", will NOT produce better quality pictures. Their job is to allow you to shoot different subjects which require different focal length lenses

Here is a link that shows what the angle of view of various lenses actually look like when they are attached to the camera

I have a Kodak easyshare MAX (Z990) and it is my favorite camera i have, since i got it i barely use my canon xsi anymore. The Kodak easyshare MAX does not have interchangeable lenses but with this camera you don't need to change the lenses. It has a 30x optical zoom and the super macro mode will focus until what ever you are trying to take a picture of touches the lens. It has a HDR mode and the PASM settings on the modes wheel. Also with the light sensor it has it takes great pictures at night. If you have any questions or want to see some of the pictures i have taken with it you can contact me.
