Better professional camera Nikon or canon?

I know that both these brands are great I just wanna know which one is better for a pro photographer.

Toss a coin. Half swear by Canon and half by Nikon.

It's far too close to call unless you're in one camp or the other.

Look, don't you think this questions gets asked hundreds times per day? And if one brand was really better, wouldn't we all know? It's like Pepsi vs Coke, Apple vs Microsoft, only fanboys argue and waste their time with stuff like that. In good hands, it's all the same.

I've got a nikon but if I was buying one from scratch Id get the Pentax K-5, its awesome and its way cheaper than either Nikon or Canon. The good thing about Nikon is that every lens they ever made will fit on a modern DSLR, and you can pick them up at a fraction of the price. Not so with Canon.

Canon in my opinion better.
