Which model of nikon and canon camera are used by professional photographers?
Professional photographers please let me know that you are using which camera for your photo shoot?
Lots swear by the Canon 1D Mark 3. I've used my t1i for professional shoots… It's not a 1D but my clients were happy with the results.
Nikon: D700, D3s, D3X and D4 (Full frame) D300s (Cropped frame)
Canon: 5D, Mark II, 1Ds, Mark III and 1DX (Full frame) 7D (Cropped frame)
It is the photographer that is the professional and a camera is just a tool of the trade. As long as the photographer can get the results that they (and the client) are happy with, that is all that matters.
As far as "professional grade" cameras (weather proof seals, better/faster image processors, bigger buffers, etcetera), then the Canon 1D and Nikon D3 series are the professional "Flagship" cameras.
I use a Canon 1D Mark III and an older Canon D30 (for the softer boudoir look).
IMO:
1) Photography is roughly 70% photographer skill/experience, 20% lens quality, and 10% camera body
2) I would rather have a $600 camera with a $1, 500 lens than I would a $1, 800 camera and a $300 lens.
Canon EOS 5D Mark II SLR
with Mark II Kit EF 24-105mm
Rs. 192055
The EOS 5D is a 21.1 megapixel SLR camera from Canon. Powered by DIGIC 4 image processing technology, the EOS 5D has CMOS sensor with dimension of 36 x 24 mm. This Canon SLR camera has aspect ratio of 3:2. The Magnesium alloy body is well suited for rugged field use and the camera also features Self Cleaning Sensor Unit with fluorine coating, which provides better dust protection.
Good choice with all features, good overall performance and is value for money product.
