Best nikon lenses for sports?

Specifically skateboarding. Doesn't have to be a fisheye.

Well it depends. You can technically use any lens to shoot sports. The thing is, how far are you from what you are trying to shoot? Are you a few meters? Then 24-70 and 70-200 will be enough. Are you 50m away? Then you need a 300mm lens! But to be more specific, you need a zoom lens with fast aperture like 2.8.so 24-70mm f/2.8G ED is perfect for you.

I use a 18-200 mm when shooting at skate parks and motocross tracks It is the most versatile lens for those purposes.

I do use a 300 mm f/2.8 when I want to isolate specific riders, but I don't think a $5, 900 lens is in your budget
