Are you allowed to take batteries on a plane?
I've got a Nikon l820 or l830 and I'm going on holiday and it takes aa batteries? I'm allowed to take some. Where's the best place hand luggage or suitcase?
Yes, there's NO problem taking batteries, I always have several AA and AAA batteries with me in my carry on bag.
Batteries are fine to bring on flights, but must be in your carry-on bag and NOT in checked luggage. Here's the rules:

Not a problem. I take at least 8 with me on my flight since my camera uses 4 AA batteries and I also carry 4 as a spare. Never had a problem.
