Reviews on the Nikon D3100?

Hi I'm considering getting the Nikon D3100 camera to record short films. Any reviews on it?

If your camera is mainly for video, I would personally suggest a video camera… My own personal opinion is that video on DSLR cameras is more of a 'gimmick' than something I would use myself… I prefer still shots to video though.

I'm not saying that the video isn't decent enough, I just think that a video camera will do a better job… That's my own opinion!

NOTE: A DSLR takes videos not films since its digital and doesn't use film.
