How to become a good photographer? - 1

I have been reading books but struggle using my camera (Nikon D3200) sometimes my shots come out good other times horrible. I've purchased a cheap speedlight a soft box, I'm looking to get into fashion photgraphy. Are their anytips someone experiences can give me or even critique some of my photos.

There's an Acronym 'RTFM' that you need to adhere too.

All the books in the world won't be worth the paper they're written on unless you 'Read The F'ing Manual'.

If you don't know how the camera sees, how can you possibly set it to expose what you want others to see?
