What do I need to become a photographer?

I have a Nikon D3000. I will not be spending another $500 for another body.

I want to know how to do it the cheapest way possible.

You have a camera, and presumably can take photographs with it, ergo you are a photographer…

NOW, if you want to be a GOOD photographer, that is a completely different thing…

the cheapest way is to LEARN THE BASICS AND NOT PRESUME THAT HITTING THE SHUTTER RELEASE WILL GET YOU A GOOD SHOT EVERY TIME…
