Is this lens compatible with my nikon d5000?

I was lookin into a less expensive fisheye lens and I can across the bower/samyung/rockinon f/3.5 8mm fisheye with Nikon attachment.everywhere I look does not include the d5000 in the list of nikons that are compatible. Please help! Any other suggestions of similar lenses?

It should.
The one you want has a CPU chip in it to connect to your cameras light meter

It fits the camera, but there's no AF and your meter won't work - like any other MF lens.
