Is an AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 lens compatible with the D5000 and D7000?

Are there any restrictions when I use this lens to these Nikon DSLR's?
Added (1). It's an af nikkor 50mm f/1.4d to be specific.

The f1.4d will not autofocus on your camera. You'd need the f1.4 AF-S or wait a month or so for the new f1.8 af-s to become available in the shops.

The entry level D5000 can't use auto-focus feature unless you buy the AF-S version of the 50 mm f/1.4
The more advanced and robust D7000 can use the auto-focus feature of any Nikkor AF lenses.

The Nikon D3000, D3100, D5000 and D5100 all require using Nikon AF-S lenses if you want auto focus. The Nikon D90, D7000 and above can use Nikon AF or AF-S lenses and both versions will auto focus on them.
The new Nikon AF-S 50mm f1.8 is expected to be available in June of this year. The price should be somewhere around $225.00.
