Is the Nikon F55 better then the Nikon D60?

What's your opinion?

Sold as a N55 in the US. This was a low end 35mm camera. Not really fair to compare the two.

No. The F55 was pretty much the same feature and quality wise as the D60… At the bottom of the (D)SLR range lacking most of the features that the better consumer models like the F75 and D90 have.

I'd say you can get exactly the same picture if you used the same lens and the same settings. What matters is your skill as a photographer. What camera you get must depend on what you can do with the camera and what you can afford.
