Windows video editing software that uses.mov?

I have a PC with Windows Vista, and windows movie maker obviously, but I dislike movie maker (crashes and isn't very user friendly) and was wondering if there's any other good software I can buy that can run.mov files without having to convert them to.avi. I use my iPhone and Nikon which both record in.mov and would love to skip the step of converting them if possible. So all in all, software for Windows PC that can edit basic video, not freakishly expensive, that can run.mov, and upload to youtube.

Have you got the latest version of Movie Maker? It's called Windows Live Movie Maker. Try it if you haven't, you might like it. Download from Microsoft.

Adobe Premiere Elements, costs about $100.00. You can get the full version at a much discounted Student/Teacher edition, if you qualify… Good luck!
