Will my Nikon fm10 lens fit on a dslr body?

I'm contemplating buying the body for now and a new lens later on.

I would be doubtful because of the auto focus and aperture. If the two can't "talk" then you don't have those functions. You'd be much better off buying the dslr as a kit with the 18-55 lens because you may have to just buy it later.

As long is it is not an invasive fisheye or pre-AI lens, it will mount no problem, but depending on the lens and body, it may not autofocus, meter, or you may not be able to change aperture through the camera (such as the older AI lenses).
