Why won't my nikon camera re-upload the photos that got deleted off of my computer?

I have a nikon camera and i uploaded photos onto my computer then deleted them on accident and now it won't let me upload them onto my computer again, Help. Ahh

Let me see if I understand what happened.

1) you copied your image files to your computer
2) you then deleted them from your computer without first making a backup CD or DVD

Is that right?

* If you have not used the same memory card since you copied all your images to your computer, you may be able to recover them using a program like Transcends RecoveRx.
* Once you have recovered all the images on the card and they are safely on your computers hard drive and you have suitable backups, format the card using the format feature on your camera
* At the end of each shooting day, copy all the images to your computer and then format the card using the cameras format feature.
* If you do not now have a second memory card, buy one and carry it with you when you have your camera.

Can you still see the pics in the camera when you go to Play? If so they should be uploadable. Possibly your upload program is set to "Only upload pics not previously upoloaded" or similar. If so uncheck that box and the pics should upload.

Or open MyComputer and look for the drive which is your camera - Copy - Paste to wherever you want in your computer.

And as Photoace says, always back up all uploads (pics, docs, music, etc) onto something outside your computer - USB stick, external drive, DVD, etc. That should always be your first action before doing anything else.
