Why does my computer deny my pictures from my camera and iPhone?

Every time I plug my Nikon digital camera into my pc computer it'll show it "importing photos" and then there will be a red x and says "access denied" and there are options and it says:
Try again
Skip this file
Skip all files with errors.
and then when you click any of the last two it just stops. And it does the same thing with my iPhone, and this started happening after my computer did an update check and deleted files that "weren't being used." Now what do I do? I'm getting angry and it's really irritating. How do I upload them now?

Get a card reader and put your memory card from the devices in it. Copy to computer that way.
Sounds like a driver or similar conflict of some type. You are better off using a card reader anyway.
