White shade over Photos?

I'm using nikon p100. When i'm taking pics in bright sun, at the tele end camera makes a thin white shade over the pictures. Does any body knows why this happens so?

You will need to link us to a photo that demonstrates this "white shade"
As a guess, it could be lens flare, but if it happens every time you use the telephoto end of your lens, it could be something you need repaired under warranty.

Take your camera and some pictures on your memory card showing the "white shade" to a camera store or someone who is more expert in photography for help. This may be a simple problem or the camera could be at fault. It is very difficult for anyone to answer your question with the information you have given so far.
