I'm looking to buy a new camera for the price of under $1850 nikon or canon depending which is better

which is better for shooting at night?
which handles noise better?
which has more iso and shutter speed?
which has more lenses for the camera?
which is better with setting?
which has more features?
which is better for shooting for day times?
Which body is better when looking into ergonomics?
which will last if i want to start professional photography?
which has better color?
which preforms better?

could you please give me a brand that has anything close to these and any models that will help me into buying a new camera

They're more or less the same, it depends on the type.although, I would prefer Canon.

The cameras you will be comparing will be the Nikon D7000, possibly the D300s, the Canon 60D and 7D

1.shooting at night depends on your skill, whether or not you have a proper lens and tripod, and less on the actual camera itself
2. At high ISOs, the Nikon D7000 has less noise
3. The Canons have an ISO range of 100-12800, the D7000 has a range of 100-25600, and the D300s a range from 100-6400.It is very unlikely you will be going that high. You will want to keep your ISO as low as possible
4. Canon and Nikon have pretty much the same lineup
5.what
6. The D300s can only shoot 720p video, whereas the rest can shoot 1080p
7. As long as you keep the ISO down, as well as depending on your skill as a photographer, the differences in quality are very negligible
8.ergonomics is a personal preference. I despise canon's ergonomics, and that is why I went with Nikon
9. The D300s and 7D are semi-pro cameras, the 60D and D7000 are more intermediate/advanced. You can use, however, any camera you want. Coupled with the right lens and proper skillset, you can make money shooting an older Nikon D70
10. All how you set it up
11.photography is 70% the photographer, 20% the lens, and 10% the camera. The performance you get out of a camera is pretty much proportionate to your skill and lens choice.

you can also look at the Nikon D5100 and T3i, both of which cost under $1000, and you can look at getting more lenses.

Try out all cameras at your price range at some store, then read reviews on the internet and buy what you'd like to own and use.

It's really not helpful to anyone to say just which brand is better, because non is. It depends on the MODEL.

None to all questions.

I mean it's not like Nikon has 14% better quality, but is really bad for professional photography. DSLR cameras are all the same with great quality and same settings, how shots come depends on you.

Canon EOS 60D, Nikon d7000 would be the best cameras for arond $1200-$1500, and you will be able to do almost everything with them.
