Which camera is best? J1/g12/nex-5n?

I'm trying to choose between

Nikon J1
Canon Powershot G12
Sony NEX-5n

Can someone offer me a comparison/opinion?
I just want to use it for documenting my life and more everyday use, and I'm willing to spend some money to make this investment to get me the highest quality camera.

Three different classes of camera

the G12 is an advanced point and shoot
the J1 is a mirrorless point and shoot with an interchangeable lens system. I hesitate to call it an actual mirrorless system camera since it fails to have manual controls and the sensor is quite small
the 5n is a mirrorless system camera which will have the best quality

so out of those three, the sony is what I would choose.
