What's the difference bewteen nikon and fujifilm?

The nikon L22 and the fujifilm S2940 which is better to take great pics?

The Nikon L22 is just an entry-level camera (all "L" series Nikons are), and does not give you any more than the basics.
The S2940, as far as I can tell, is a WalMart exclusive, and has been around for awhile. While it has manual modes, they are not a complete set. And the lens - being a high-power zoom - is optically inferior.
Neither camera is very stellar. You would be better spending your money on a Canon SX130.
