Not really. Fujifilm makes a few decent cameras, but they are not nearly as good as Canon, Nikon, or Sony. I would recommend a one of these brands over Fujifilm anyday. As far as DSLR's or picture cameras it's either Canon or Nikon (practically the same) and for Video cameras Sony is the way to go. Hope this helps!

You're going to read differing opinions, of course. In my experience, I own two Fuji cameras among others and they make fine equipment for what they are.

Understand that Fuji only makes bridge cameras not dslr cameras. They used to make dslr cameras but apparently couldn't compete on price so they quit.

Remember also, as with anything else, the more expensive the camera the higher the quality. So, if you want a Fuji, the higher in price you go the better the technical quality of the gear.

No, Fuji aren't like Canon or Nikon.

They were among the pioneers of multi-layer coating.
They developed one of the first open-aperture TTL metering systems for M42.
They were the first to include an LED in an SLR viewfinder.
They produced a multimode SLR years before Nikon.
Their market share in film was second only to Kodak.
Their sensors were used in the first professional DSLRs (Modified Canon and Nikon).

These days, they make a superb range of bridge cameras known for excellent specification, reliability and low price.

Fujifilm bridge cameras are a good choice for those who don't particularly see the need for a DSLR, but want a flexible and reliable camera at a fair price.

No hey are not lie Nikon or Canon.

They are a leader in film production and commercial scale photographic printing.

They also make a a range of compact digital cameras, including some highly regarded models such as the X100

Fujifilm is reliable brand for point and shoot cameras. It is not the first choice for DSLR's.

It depends on the fuji camera you buy
but it gives you warranty
canon, nikon are the leading brand
if you wanna buy a fuji check all the reviews in amazon/youtube/photography websites etc
then try purchasing don't blindly purchase any camera
