How does Fujifilm digital cameras compare to Sony and Nikon?
Fujifilm, especially their higher end cameras such as the X10, X100 and X1-pro are very nice and well built. Quality is awesome too.
they stack up very well.
Fujifilm do a series of very nice bridge cameras offering full manual control cheaper than either of the other two.
While decent, neither Sony nor Nikon's point-and-shoots are anything to write home about, but Sony's SLTs (a class which they invented) give superior video performance over Nikon's SLRs.
Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Pentax all make SLRs which have their adherents, stupid people think the entire photographic industry consists of the first two.
Depends on the cameras in question. Fujifilm is frankly the sector leader when it comes to bridge cameras. If you get to play with a X-S1 it makes it very hard to even look at any of the competition, well until you see the price tag that is.
