What is the lens mount on a Nikon N65 35mm SLR camera?

I have a Nikon N65 which I use for photography at my school. I want to expand my lens quiver to allow for more effects in my pictures. What is the lens mount on the Nikon N65? And will new lenses work with it?

Well, Nikon has kept the same basic lens mount system for all their cameras going back for years, so almost any Nikon lens will mount on the camera, BUT, only those lenses marked AF (for Auto-Focus) will have all the working features you need, so look for Nikon or Nikkor AF lenses (see link, below) and you'll be fine.

They're not cheap though, so look for used ones on eBay, too!

Any AF, AF-I or AF-S lens will fit your N65.

I have an N65 I loan out to students when they take their first photo class and don't want to spend money on a camera quite yet, not until they are ready to go digital.

Do you have the user manual for the N65?
