Look at a Nikon D7000.It can make great videos. You can see some of them on youtube.

A SLR is a single lens reflex camera that uses film only. The DSLR cameras are digital. Most will take video also.

You can use some of the nikon SLR's for recording video but they don't record the best audio and it is usually recommended that you record your audio to an external audio recorder, and they don't have fast auto focus. If you want easy buy a regular video camera with a good microphone and use that.
