As far as I know, no current zeiss lenses will autofocus on any DSLR.

None. The only autofocusing Carl Zeiss are made for the Sony a-mount. This is part of the reason I use Sony.

I don't see an auto-focus lens in the bunch except those made by Sony under Zeiss license

My guess is that if you are going to the expense of buying a Zeiss lens, you will take the time to mount your camera on a tripod and manually focus the lens

Here is the latest announced Zeiss lens and it is manual focus

"Even if the camera has an AF motor?" An auto-focus motor in the lens only works if the lens has a mechanical connection that the auto-focus motor can use.

There's a reason Carl Zeiss is not third-party (yes I'm well aware you didn't mention it so here I'm).It has superior glass quality over the original brand. When you begin to appreciate that level of glass quality, you don't care about autofocus any more. Your primary concern is to get the most out of the glass by submitting it under your absolute total control.

If you want to play with "Zeiss approved" lenses, buy a Sony.

No but they are amazing lenses. I use the 85mm and 19mm. Those lenses are relatively easy to focus. Be careful with the 85mm wide open, it has almost no depth of field. The look is amazing but you lose a lot of shots to focus.
