Is carl zeiss tessar 50mm 2.8 fit with nikon d5000?
Added (1). When i put on the lense on the nikon d5000, it displays NO Lense Attached.
Added (2). It is nikon mount. But still it'll appears NO Lense Attached.
Only if it is a ZF.2, ZF, or ZS (you will need a ZS-F mount adapter) mount. Even so, I'm not sure about the compatibility. It would be best if you contacted Nikon and Zeiss about the matter
I was reading on zeiss' website, and it was saying that "ZF.2 Lenses
Lenses for camera bodies that are not AI-compatible with F bayonet for cameras from Nikon."
your D5000 is AI compatible which may be the cause of the problem
again, call up zeiss and nikon and either exchange the lens or somehow bypass that "no lens attached" message.
Only if it comes with a Nikon mount. Even if it does, you can only use your camera in full Manual mode.
Set it to M and that will go away
